The following is not offered to
manipulate your direction whatsoever, but to perhaps offer some clarification or some inspiration for your
contributions. As we have begun this project, we have come with the approach that sees [ s p a c e s ] as a

    . . . recognition that we're a
generation living in many types of limbo, and that although living in
the in-between can often be a frustrating, lonely, and confusing place,
it can also be a place to express honesty, and to discover glimpses of
beauty and hope. [spaces] is an

exploration of the in-between. It is an
exploration of the spaces around us, within us, and between us . . .

                                                            - hope that helps,
                                                                 linnea.
           <submission guidelines listed below>

Monday, November 13, 2006

Write.
Photograph.
Paint.
Explore.

Do you have creativity? Trinity Western University is currently looking for submissions to their first ever literary journal, [spaces]. Submissions are currently being accepted in the following areas:

Poetry: Submit up to five poems no longer than seven pages (combined). Each poem MUST be on separate sheets of paper. Please, no fancy fonts.

Creative Writing: (includes drama, fiction, personal essay, and short story) Submit up to two works no more than 7-8 pages in length ~ 2500 words (this means you may submit one work that is 2500 words or two works that are 1000 words and 1350 words respectively) Submissions must be 12 pt. font and double-spaced.
