have been asking for some direction as far as the vision of [ s p a c e s ]. The following is not offered to
manipulate your direction whatsoever, but to perhaps offer some clarification or some inspiration for your
contributions. As we have begun this project, we have come with the approach that sees [ s p a c e s ] as a
. . . recognition that we're a
generation living in many types of limbo, and that although living in
the in-between can often be a frustrating, lonely, and confusing place,
it can also be a place to express honesty, and to discover glimpses of
beauty and hope. [spaces] is an
exploration of the in-between. It is an
exploration of the spaces around us, within us, and between us . . .
